SCEA has gone CRAZY

They need to learn about the Streisand effect
I think practically every single user of the PS3 knows what's going on

I wonder what happens if you click "Do Not Accept" does your PS3 explode?

Jesse: probably exactly the same as with cancel: you get kicked back to the XMB, perhaps with a "you didn't accept the agreement" error.

I thought of you George Hotz how you can win your case against Sony would look
If you remember on ps2 that came out of spring JB sandwich games downloaded from the Internet is the first argument you can present to the "Sony" Until now Sony is not dealt with this issue for what? Still continue to leave games for PS2 and still people bring the games to the Internet Madoasona not take a position here?
Here comes my answer: (I guess) Sony is not taking ways to prevent it because she wants to stop the production of games for PS2 and people will buy the PS3 and it will have a lot of money (we are talking about billions of millions of dollars)
So this is a pretty good argument not like that?:) Now about the donations I have an idea how you can make money I can insert advertisements in popular sites to add the advertisements would be glad to donate the money you earn is acceptable to you? Do you agree? If you answered yes please email me so I can work for you

Sony is an mother f**ker!!! They have no rights to have controll over our consoll(s) that we have purchased. When i have bought an item, in this case a consoll, I have the full rights over it an noone can say "thats our product and we have also rights over it" its mine. I can shit on it, i can throw it into fire, hit it with a axe, love it, hate it and so on. I have full rights to crack it, because its mine not sce or scee. I can download what ever i want!

This is very disturbing the fact that sony can watch what we are doing or ban us for suspicion. If there is a new jailbreak you better be dang sure that its not detectable we have to find some way to turn off the internal camera that sony or SCEA watches us with this would be very helpful to the community. This should be legal because being in the ownership position of an object means it is rightfully yours hence editing it in any way shape or form should be legal. You pay the money YOU decide.

GEOHOT Please Read, I want to get this out there and i don't know how, I'm just a pore guy but i hope you win your case, May contain errors bad spelling or grammar. Feel free to use this in your case! I know it may not help you but Sony needs to stop going against our rights.

I think the new Terms of service is completely unlawful, I did not agree to the new TOS, It gives Sony more power then the police, The police can't search your house or your computers without a warrant from a judge so why should Sony be able to, are they above the law? They also can not legally delete anything i may have on my ps3 that is my property or that i have payed for. Another thing i don't like is they state they can monitor or basically search any devices and collect data hooked up to the PS3 and no limits on to what they can search, monitor, or collect data on. Take this example i have USB flash readers with files on my PS3 i have two PC's hooked up to my ps3 and Sony has no right to even be looking into my PC let alone my ps3 i payed for,

I thought Facebook's TOS was bad but this is just completely unlawful in every sense of the way for example, Facebook can monitor whatever you say or do on Facebook webpages but they can't look into the devices you own and watch and record what you do on it. If i have porn in my PC or any personal pictures or videos of my girlfriend and have media streaming enabled then the PS3 has excess to my PC and that would allow Sony to see any personal pictures of videos that i may have under there new TOS, Example: Naked pictures or sex videos of my girlfriend or any porn i may stream from my PC to my PS3, I stream all kinds of video and music to my ps3 from my PC and Sony has no right to search or scan my PC that is connected to my ps3 or any devices in my ps3 such as hard drives or USB flash media, What if i had used my old PC hard drive that had all kinds of personal files on it, Sony isn't the Police and they have no right, and me not signing the new TOS is my right to keep them from doing it, Additionally they have no right to force me to update any device i may own or block me from services that it was sold for and advertised to have unless i update my said device. When i payed for my PS3 at the store i did not sign a contract, I bought the Device from a local retailer (Walmart) and it is advertised as having specific features and it should work right out of the box, My PS3 is brand new less then 3 weeks old but i am now locked out of Playstation Network an advertised feature unless i allow Sony to basically spy on me by monitoring everything i do and everything i have hooked up to my PS3 as stated above.

hmm, looks like another CFAA violation that Sony has committed. The means on how they do what you are all talking about is another rootkit. By accessing your PS3 unauthorized, they gain unauthorized access to your PC(s).

in other words, in the case where Sony is getting sued, if anyone of you are here, my comment above can be ammended to your claim of CFAA violation as proof that Sony is defrauding all of their customers including the class that is being certified

Hi Geohot

Do you guys in America have anything like the consumer rights act

In New Zealand this saves us from sony removing the other os from the 3.21 firmware
however sonys not trialing people in a new zealand court

according to wikipedia you guys have the Fair Credit Reporting Act
I reakon sony breaches this act because when you want to go on psn you have to agree to there tos and if you do not wish to because you do not agree to the new tos then i think that they are withholding your credit card details

according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act that would be illegal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Credit_Reporting_Act

sadly if you agree to the tos then they can get away with peeking in ya system but they would have to tell you which information is being recorded i dont see anywhere in the new tos where they state this

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privacy_Act_of_1974

i Hope these laws can help you i hope sonys ass gets kicked for there invasion of privacy and stealing credit card information

Heres my situation I would love to delete my credit card info from sonys psn as i heard they can view this info as a simple text file.

That being said can they know where i live my credit card number everything in order for someone at sony to use my credit card info and go shoping with it?

Anyway i choose not to sign in to psn as i do not agree with there new tos/sony having a wank over how awesome they think they are.

As i do not agree with there new tos i cannot remove my credit card info from there server.

so i think they are in breach of the
Fair Credit Reporting Act

and i also think they are in brech of the
Privacy act

because no where in the new tos does it state what information sony is recording in there database or databases

illegally taking what they will
once again hope i am right or somewhat right and you can nail sony

and good luck and thank you for fighting for us all
